Classes & Meetups
Saturdays, 10am-Noon at the Roanoke Public Library
Interested in meeting other writers, learning more about the craft, and discovering other writers’ groups and events in the area? Join us on Saturday mornings and tell us about your writing journey! We discuss our work, what we’re reading, things we’ve learned, and pick each other’s brains about the different challenges we face in our work. We also host monthly classes or workshops with occasional guest speakers. For more information, email Sarah at firstname.lastname@example.org. You can also join our new Facebook group.
Thursdays, 6pm to 8pm* at the Roanoke Public Library
Activities may include writing workshops, critique groups, creativity exercises, games, and more. Teens are encouraged to bring a pen and notebook. Laptops and/or tablets are also permitted. Ages 12-18
*does not meet the first Thursday of each month
Join us for our monthly hands-on program where we explore words, pictures, and the techniques to express ourselves through both. Combination art journaling, writing, and exploring the creative spirit, this program is suitable for anyone who wants to make art. Bring your favorite pen and a willingness to play!
